Wool Wax?

It's the same stuff that your wife puts on her face.  Well, not quite.  The lanolin (wool wax) that is the basic ingredient in Fluid Film®, is an industrial grade, versus the pharmaceutical grade that is used in cosmetics, lotions and ointments.  Nevertheless, the same properties that women find ideal in lanolin are the same properties that make it ideal for some industrial applications.  Lanolin is derived from the wool sheared from sheep. Through a series of washings and treatments, the sheeps wool wax is separated from the wool, it is then further refined with the end product being lanolin.
